US Budget Deficits Heading For a Train Wreck

Its finally coming from within our government, the realization and admission that the government has led the economy to the brink of collapse. 

Jim welcomes back former United States Senator Alan Simpson to the program. Mr. Simpson sees the spiraling debt and trillion-dollar budget deficits as a problem that must be solved, or America's finished. "We won't get a second chance."

The former Societ republic traveled this path, and the hyperinflation that followed, before their unavoidable collapse. 

Alan K. Simpson served as United States Senator from Wyoming for 18 years. While in Congress, Senator Simpson served as Chairman of the Veteran's Committee, Immigration and Refugee Subcommittee of Judiciary, the Nuclear Regulation Subcommittee, the Social Security Subcommittee and the Committee on Aging. Recently, Simpson was appointed as co-chair to President Barack Obama's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform with co-chair Eskine Bowles. During his time at the Fiscal Commission, he and fellow co-chair Erskine Bowles were able to garner a bipartisan majority of 11 out of 18 Commission members to support a final debt reduction plan, outlined in "The Moment of Truth."

Yet we continue to see dollar devaluation/inflation and ever-increasing budgets and deficits year after year.
