Obama Asks Congress to Raise Debt Target

President Obama formally asked Congress Thursday to raise the nation's debt ceiling, stating the country's debts have fallen within $100 billion of the current debt limit and an increase is needed to meet "existing commitments."

The request came Thursday in a letter from the president to House Speaker John Boehner.

Since our debt is now equal to our economy, I expect that following significant increase of the Debt Target we will finally follow Greece, Ireland, and the few others that live beyond responsible means. We raise the target, then we drive debt higher. It's a vicious cycle that requires going cold turkey and letting this system of economic control to collapse, replacing it on a local level with a resource based economy beyond the manipulation of bankers and government.

Obama's support for driving our debt ever higher is evidence that he is the banker's president, no longer a man o the People.
