Nationwide Occupy protests have resulted in numerous instances of police brutality, many with no logical source. Some communities are beginning to recognize that those joining the protests are not dissidents, but community members just like us. Getting law enforcement to recognize and support this reality is a huge obstacle we need to overcome to make positive changes. Protests will not cease until progress is made.
