A magnitude 5.3 earthquake has struck Hokkaido, Japan Region at a depth of just 1,5 km (0 miles), the quake hit at 13:29:41 UTC Wednesday 7th September 2011.
The epicenter was 131 km (82 miles) Southeast of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries at this time
