My main qualm with global warming, El Niño, and climate change is an ego thing. Man believes that because we are now able to measure, observe, and quantify climate change that it is now an issue. I feel that this is a very narrow and short-sighted position to take. Did nothing exist before we were here to see it?
Global climate change is a massive and cyclical process that takes no heed of the presence of Man, but is a result of forces well beyond the scope and perception of most people. Yes, the world's climate does change, but is it something that has only recently occurred?
Give a monkey a brain and he'll swear he's the center of the universe.
